They have kept us so aware of what you have been going through, in every sense. I was very taken by the address by the Chief Rabbi and felt it was a most excellent reminder of that which a covenant is. Powerful words indeed. Perhaps the scrum will not be pulled down when others reflect on the affect it might have on the "whole family". A Downing Street petition seeking Gordon Brown to admonish her has reached 12,600 names.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Why can people not live and let live? The church should be worrying about poverty, HIV,famine, Zimbabwe etc etc. These things are so much more important and urgent. I realise however, that those with vast quantities of money have a vested interest in splitting the church. I heard this week that Fairtrade communion wine is being consumed in dutch churches ! Maybe you could see what others think of such a thing ? It could be the start of something ! You could begin with bishops from South Africa or Chile. Ask would it help ?
